About the Position
The Customer Solutions Manager provides leadership, direction, and support to a team dedicated to serving Washington’s K-12 educational community. This position plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience through migration planning, consultation, coordination, problem-solving, and collaborative support. This role blends people leadership with hands-on involvement in migration priorities, customer needs, cross-functional problem-solving, and continuous improvement efforts.
As part of the Product Support & Services department, the Customer Solutions Manager fosters a culture of service, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Working as a member of the PSS leadership team, this position collaborates closely with Associate Directors and peer managers to align priorities, support departmental initiatives, and promote consistent practices across teams. The successful candidate will lead a highly skilled team, set migration priorities, and play a key role in shaping the future of Migration Services at WSIPC. Future responsibilities may evolve as business needs change and could include broader leadership opportunities across service teams.
This position is ideal for a collaborative leader who is passionate about developing people, solving complex problems, building relationships, and delivering meaningful outcomes for customers while supporting organizational goals and strategic priorities.
Employment Benefits
This is a full-time 260-day position. WSIPC provides a comprehensive benefits package including but not limited to thirteen holidays, medical, dental, vision, paid vacation ranging from 12-22 days per year and up to 8 hours of paid sick leave per month. Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management across the employee lifecycle for the Migration Services team.
Guide migration priorities, resource planning, and team capacity to support successful customer transitions and organizational goals.
Partner with customers, stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to identify migration challenges, coordinate solutions, manage risks, and support successful outcomes.
Collaborate with Associate Directors, peer managers, and organizational leadership to align priorities, coordinate cross-functional migration efforts, and strengthen service delivery.
Promote consistent migration practices, knowledge sharing, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement to support team effectiveness and customer success.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience with a passion for coaching, developing, and supporting others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a leadership team, building strong partnerships, aligning priorities, and contributing to shared organizational goals.
Strong commitment to customer service, relationship building, and positive customer experiences.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, situational awareness, diplomacy, and the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Ability to lead through change with adaptability, resilience, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Experience facilitating meetings, presenting information, and communicating effectively with diverse audiences.
Ability to think strategically while remaining attentive to operational details and customer needs.
Experience supporting software implementations, system migrations, or other large-scale customer transitions is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with K-12 business processes, software applications, and customer support environments is strongly preferred.
Experience working within service level expectations, customer-focused organizations, and cross-functional environments is preferred.
College diploma or university degree in an appropriate discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
